So my dad has had his new job for about a week now. For some reason, I'm not very excited for him. His personality has changed. He's constantly on the phone and/or the computer now and when he isn't he finds something to yell at me about or complain about. He hasn't spent any time with me at all. Today he thought it would be good for us to have a "father/daughter" lunch. Immediately after we set foot in the restaurant, he noticed a group of people that he knows and decided to sit and talk to them for ages leaving me to stand to the side and wait. Am I just being selfish? Should I just be happy for him? After all, this is a job he's wanted for a long time. Maybe he's just stressed and things will get better. |
